Petroleum Equipment Institute
The Petroleum Gear Institute (PEI) has announced the release of its second 2015 safety poster. The poster depicts a security challenge in the petroleum and gas tools handling trade and is entitled: “Properly secure dispensers.”
Produced as part of the PEI Security Program, the poster was developed by the 2014 PEI Safety Committee and illustrated by artist Rodney Thompson of Paragould, Ark. PEI has printed 40 security consciousness posters since 1992 on industry-particular subjects, corresponding to barricading the workplace, lockout/tagout, confined house entry and excavation security.
The PEI Safety Posters are free to members and can be downloaded, along with many other security sources, at www.pei.org/security.
In addition to the annual posters, the PEI Safety Program authors Safety Dos and Don’ts, a collection of reality sheets that tackle safety considerations within the petroleum and power handling equipment industry, which also are available freed from cost on the PEI website.
