– Kochi Refinery
The BPCL Kochi Refinery, embarked on its journey in 1966 with a capability of fifty,000 barrels per day. Previously often known as Cochin Refineries Restricted, the refinery was originally established as a joint venture in collaboration with Phillips Petroleum Corporation, USA. It was later renamed as Kochi Refineries Limited, and at the moment, it is a frontline entity as a unit of the Fortune 500 Firm.
Kochi Refinery is positioned at Ambalamugal, close to Kochi in liquid fertilizer suppliers Kerala, and is one in every of the two Refineries of BPCL, presently having a crude oil refining capability of 9.5 Million Metric Tonnes per naphtha Annum (MMTPA).
